The law firm ABOGADAS LANCELOT, represented by our solicitor Alicia Martín Borreguero, had the honour of taking part in the Conference on Gender-Based Violence organised by the Equality Office of the UGT trade union in Lanzarote, under the coordination of Ms Blanca Beortegui Sierra and Ms Alicia Rodríguez Martín.

The event, opened by Mr César Reyes Pérez, Secretary General of UGT Lanzarote, brought together leading professionals committed to the fight against gender-based violence. Speakers included the Head of the Judicial Police Unit in Tías, who addressed the topic "How to detect gender-based violence", Mr Gerardo Quintana, who delivered a practical self-defence workshop, and our solicitor Alicia Martín Borreguero, who gave the talk "Know Yourself in the Face of Gender-Based Violence", aimed at UGT union delegates on the island.
