In 2017 a community of neighbors in Mallorca agreed to ban the use of the swimming pool by garage owners, who did not have housing in the building.

But an owner of seven garage spaces filed a lawsuit. He considered that to change the bylaws, as in 2017, unanimity was necessary.

The court and the Provincial Court ruled in favor of the owner of garage spaces. However, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the community of neighbors.

The Supreme Court decided that unanimity was not necessary. Furthermore, it considered that the swimming pool was not intended for the owners of the parking spaces. Read more.
